Haruyama elected Chairman of Cryogenic Society of Japan

Dr. Tom Haruyama, long-time CSA member, has been elected Chairman of the Cryogenic Society of Japan (CSJ). CSJ runs half-yearly domestic meetings on cryogenics and superconductivity, drawing 400 participants and 200 technical and scientific presentations. It also publishes the monthly Japanese Journal of Cryogenic Engineering. He is also chairman of the International Cryogenic Engineering Committee and has long served as the Asian editor of the journal Cryogenics.
