The quarterly Issue No. 33 of the Superconductivity News Forum (SNF) dated July 2015 is now available online at the IEEE Council on Superconductivity’s website. The publication of the present issue was delayed to accommodate selected presentations and preprints from the recent Cryogenic Engineering Conference/International Cryogenic Materials Conference (CEC/ICMC) 2015 and International Superconductive Electronics Conference (ISEC) 2015.

Highlights from this issue include two plenary talks from these conferences: “Superconducting Turboelectric Distributed Aircraft Propulsion,” given on July 1 at CEC/ICMC by Michael Armstrong from Rolls-Royce, and “Recent Progress in Digital Electronics,” given on July 7 at ISEC by Oleg Mukhanov from HYPRES on work ongoing under the C3 program on energy-efficient computing. This presentation is annotated for SNF readers.
