Bluefors, a Finnish cryogenics company focused on the quantum computing industry, and Physics World are jointly presenting a free quantum computing-centered webinar open to the public. The live “Next Generation of Cryogenics: Tailored for Quantum Technologies” will be presented at 3 p.m. BST/5 p.m. EET on July 2, 2020. It will explore an integrated experimental platform for the control of the quantum degrees of freedom.
The webinar will introduce recent developments to support a modern and modular cryogenic measurement infrastructure, which include Bluefors’ XLD side-loader (XLDsl) and new high density wiring solution. Topics will include the key enablers for the “second quantum revolution” with the focus on an integrated experimental platform for the control of the quantum degrees of freedom.
In the webinar, Tomi Elovaara, Slawomir Simbierowicz and Joshua Milem will present Bluefors’ modular cryogenic infrastructure that enables developments in quantum computing, detector physics, astronomy, materials science and more. An integrated platform for cryogenic measurements will also be presented, along with a demonstration of the LD side-loader system, which enables modularity for both multi-user systems and large experimental efforts.
